Welcome to the vegetative phase – the power growth of your plants! Now it’s all about developing lots of strong shoots that will later form the basis for a bold bloom. To ensure that your plants grow healthily and evenly, you need to have one thing under control: Climate & watering.

🌡️ Temperature in the comfort zone

• The optimum temperature is between 23 and 27 °C.
• It may go up to 30 °C in the short term, but avoid strong fluctuations.
• Too cold = stunted growth.
• Too hot = stress for the plant and less energy for new shoots.

👉 Tip: If the humidity is too high, you can heat the room a little. Warm air binds more moisture, which lowers the relative humidity by a few percentage points.

💧 Keep humidity stable

• Target range: 65-75 % humidity.
  • With our growMACHINE , this can be automated in combination with a humidifier
• Too dry = the plants evaporate too much water, leaves curl up.
• Too moist = risk of mold and sluggish growth.

💡 Set the lighting

Your growMACHINE runs at a fixed rhythm during this phase:

• 18 hours of light, 6 hours of darkness
• The intensity is between 45 % and 100 % – so you can adjust it flexibly.
• More light = faster growth, but pay attention to temperature and electricity costs.

🚿 Watering & irrigation

You don’t need to over-nourish your plants during the growth phase. It is only important that the substrate always remains slightly moist – but not wet!

• Daily check: Feel the top layer of soil with your finger.
• Too dry → soil life suffers.
• Too wet → roots get no air.
