The aim of the curing process is to cure the flowers and break down chlorophyll. Chlorophyll creates a scratchy mouthfeel during smoking. Pack a 62 percent Boveda Humidity Pack and a hygrometer in all your jars, as the humidity should be around 60 percent. The Boveda packs regulate the humidity automatically. For a week, air the jars four to five times a day for five minutes, as fresh air is needed to break down the chlorophyll. Remove the Bovedas when airing.
After one or two weeks, you can reduce ventilation to once or twice a day with a clear conscience, after a while it will be enough to ventilate once a day.
