Before you can start growing, you need to fill the smartTRAY with soil. The amount of soil differs depending on the size of your growBOX:

Our smartSOIL is the perfect organic soil for your cultivation. It contains all the nutrients and microorganisms your plants need – without any fertilizer. You pour the appropriate amount of smartSOIL into your tray and add water. The amount of water depends on the size of your tray and is 10 percent of the soil.

Mix the smartSOIL and the water thoroughly. Then cover the tray and leave the smartSOIL to rest for 14 days. During this resting period, fungi and bacteria multiply so that they can start doing their actual job – converting nutrients.
You can use smartSOIL in the same way when growing in fabric pots – the process remains the same as when growing in trays:
