First remove all the large leaves from the plant and expose the shoots. Do not remove any small leaves from the flowers, this will come later! Next, take a coat hanger and hang it from the ceiling of your tent. In the next step, cut the shoots so that you can simply hang them on the hanger. Once you have hung up the flower-covered shoots, remove the pots and any dirt from the bottom of the tent.
Set the growMACHIE to drying mode to ensure exhaust air, odor filtering and air circulation. Avoid pointing the clip fan directly at the flowers.
Leave your tubers to dry over the next few days. During the drying process, you need to ensure the right climatic conditions. As already mentioned, terpenes evaporate from 25 degrees Celsius. During drying, make sure that the temperature in the tent is 18 to 22 degrees Celsius with a humidity of 55 to 60 percent.
Check your plants for mold every day and make sure there is a constant exchange of air. If mold forms, your entire harvest will be destroyed.
After 7 to 10 days, you can slowly check whether the flowers are already fully dried. To do this, take a stem from a shoot and try to break it. If it does not break without cracking, the flowers must remain hanging for a few more days. If it breaks smoothly with a crack, you can continue with further processing – trimming.
